Should I go to Venice for a weekend for 149 Euros or Normandy for a day for free?

I am a study abroad student and I have to make this choice. It has always been my dream to go to Venice, but I am sure that I would be able to go in the future such as spring break. Also all of my friends are going to Normandy and there are also students going to Venice, but I do not know any of them. What would you do if you were me?? Normandy is free for a day, but Venice is 150 Euros for a weekend.
