I have a question for women. How would you feel if a random guy in one of your college cles...?

Awwwwwwwwwlllllllllll I think that is sooooooooo cute. I would be flattered that you took the time to p me a note instead of trying to be some hot shot mac daddy. You should go for it, but please, there has to be more to your note so she may respond to it if she so desires. Better yet, why not just introduce yourself, after all you sound like a nice guy, so Good Luck! =P
