Stay-at-Home Moms, how do you make due without a car?

My husband and I went three years without a car, and i still never use it. I put my daughter in the stroller when it cools down at night and we walk that way. That's also what i do for grocery shopping. I throw a backpack on and use my backpack and the bottom of the stroller to hold the groceries.
