How can i get an unsolicited script solicited.?

I contacted Scholastic and they said they don't accept unsolicited scripts. I need help with this. Does this mean I need an agent. I don't want another publisher. Also I live in Canada and say I did have to get an agent the I would prefer a Canadian one.
