What are some good warm beaches near San Francisco/ NorCal?

All of the ocean water in the bay area is colder than Santa Cruz. You have to go to Southern Cal for soft warm sand and water. Stinson Beach from S.F. is 1 1/2 hr drive but water is still cold. So is Jenner Beach up the coast.
